The price decrease is intended to make the program more affordable to the users of PDF workflows with less demanding production requirements. The program price has been decreased to $69.95 (down from $119.95).
PDF Checkpoint lets users process batches of PDF files with a simple drag-and-drop, and offers the following capabilities:
-Quickly preflight PDF files using powerful preflight profiles
-Route PDF to specified folders according to preflight results
-Export PDF as images in popular formats at specified resolution, scale and color mode
-Split files into single page PDF documents

PDF Checkpoint is a new addition to the Zevrix family of quality control products, which already includes InPreflight for Adobe InDesign, and Graphic Inspector for images and vector graphic files.

PDF Checkpoint is currently bundled with free Graphic Inspector (a $39.95 value). Trial is also available for download. PDF Checkpoint is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2-10.6 as a Universal Binary.
