InPreflight goes well beyond the InDesign basics helping graphics and print professionals uncover hidden problems, save disk space through smart auto-packaging, save and print graphic reports, and reduce production time and costs.
InPreflight provides a robust, fast, reliable and user-friendly preflight solution for service providers, printers, ad agencies, designers and publishing houses. It quickly gathers extensive information about document fonts, colors and links and lets users instantly locate potential problems according to preflight presets. InPreflight also checks for hidden errors not reported by InDesign, such as EPS compression, embedded fonts in EPS files and illegal link locations. The program helps prevent many errors that can result in missing deadlines and costly print reruns. InPreflight is, on average, 2-10 times faster than FlightCheck.
InPreflight is also a powerful packaging automation solution which allows users to preflight and package multiple documents. Among other abilities, it can collect all files into one folder, eliminating the need to collect the same links multiple times for each design. The savings can result in gigabytes of space and hours of production time. In addition, InPreflight lets users print graphic preflight reports and save them as fully searchable interactive PDF files, providing an easy way to analyze, archive and send reports to service providers.

Trial version is available for download. Upgrade to InPreflight Pro 2.6.12 is free for licensed users of version 2, and US$40 for the users of earlier versions. InPreflight is available for Mac OS X 10.4.2-10.6, a Universal Binary, and works with Adobe InDesign CS-CS4.
